Microsoft PowerPoint to the Rescue

Since I no longer decided to film at the beach, there were a few adjustments that I needed to make. In response to the change in location I updated my storyboard. After adjusting the scenes through editing, I noticed that the flow of my film seems to be a lot better. I wanted to represent a lame pathetic character and a morning jog at the beach did not represent that. Jogging through a neighborhood is more realistic for the main male character and the extra walking their dog that morning. Seeing as how all my scenes were assembled, I delved deep into editing. I plan to complete all editing by the end of this week to leave the last week before the project is due to per editing. While the timing is a little behind the previously set schedule, I believe I will have enough time to complete everything. When editing I utilized many filters to adjust the atmosphere of the scenes. Due to the lack of availability of my actors some scene could not be done uniformly. There were some scenes that take place on the same day but weren’t able to be filmed on the same day. The lighting seemed to differ in the scenes so to make up for it I adjusted the lighting so all could match. I am currently still assembling the music and sounds that will be present in the film. While tampering around with the editing app I noticed the app itself provided no copyright background music that I could use at certain points of the film. The app itself however does not allow me to apply the titles in the font I want. To accomplish this, I used the Microsoft PowerPoint app. The app also has transitions and animations that would fit well in the film. The app provides multiple uses and will be the main editing source for titles and transitions. I noticed while editing that I had to delete a lot of things to create space for everything I saved. Since the app is not specifically made for editing videos the uploading and adding of the titles will be tedious, and will most likely be the hardest part of editing.
