Mr. Split Final



Throughout  this project there were many ups and downs. I had to deal with moody actors, rotten bananas, and lack of time. Eventually I got everything together and my project was successful even though everything didn't turn out as planned.  I initially wanted the actors to switch off but I Instead used one person. The location I set for one of the scenes was also changed. It was extremely hard to squeeze my commercial into 30 seconds, but I somehow managed. I learned a lot through this project and had a lot of fun filming and editing this commercial

My First Attempt at Editing my Music Video

                                          Since I did not finish filming, there was only so much I could do when I began editing. Before, I mainly use the Microsoft Video Editor to edit all my videos, but since this is music video, I figured I would need to find an alternative. The Microsoft Video Editor does not include many common features that could be found in a music video like transitions, zooms, and certain filters. Before editing anything, I searched for music video editors online and finally found one I was satisfied. However, the app was not available on my computer and could only be downloaded on my phone. I’ve never used my phone to edit any of my previous videos before, so this will be a new experience. Wild Kingdom

My name is Imani Sameem and I am currently a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School, and as of lately times have been tough. Me and my family moved into my grandmother’s house for a short while with other family members that also live here.  It’s great here, I love living with my family and being close to them, but the only downside to living here is that this house is basically Wild Kingdom. One of my cousins has a hamster named Kevin and my other cousin has a rabbit named Snowflake. Along with those two, I moved here with my dog Faye. I usually love animals but lately I've never disliked them so much. One terrible morning I was half asleep and had to relieve myself. Final Music Video "TYL" by kakie

Throughout this project there were a lot of mistakes and doubts but nonetheless I remain happy with the result. There was a lot of footage I recorded that I did not include in the video, and most things I planned previously did not actually occur in the video. With animals as actors there was a lot of patience necessary as well a lot of cleaning up after the animals. Editing was also a hassle as a component of music videos are fluent transitions and when editing on two apps, with one specifically for transitions, it became rather difficult. With enough patience and hope I completed the video.
