What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?

This movie like the one before included the element of clashing personalities. While both characters first meeting was not displayed in the movie, there was still a description of opposite personalities in the past and present. They eventually grow past their differences, but the establishment of the different personalities strengthened their overall love.

What elements of the genre did the movie have that you like?

I liked the likeable characters element of the movie. The characters were presented as very relatable for multiple age groups. They’re high school, college, and post college experience were all brought up in the movie and targeted multiple ages. I also liked that they didn’t use the stereotypical relationship of a male and female. There was wide representation in the movie.

What elements of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you?

I did not like the cluelessness of the main character. The audience and most in the movie were aware of the other MC’s feelings but him. One element in rom coms is the eccentric best friend who in a way represents the audience. Those watching can find a lot in common with the best friend and will often find their thoughts in line with the best friend character. In this movie the best friend was relatable but caused more problems. I did not like the destructive best friend element of the movie and would rather have that character remain outside of the relationship at all times.  There were also many lapses in time that made the story seem rushed. I plan to progress the love between the two characters in my film in a slower way. I will somehow establish a slower paced love in the first few minutes of the film.

                                                   In general, music videos contain multiple components that deliver the lyrics of the song through a visual outlook. Common conventions in a music video are long shots, close ups, and mid shots. Close ups are most common out of the three, as it is the clearest way to deliver the emotions of a character in a music video as well as to help the audience understand the plot of the video better. Since this is a music video there will be a lack of dialogue and therefore a lack of context, which will have to be made up for through the facial expressions and actions of those in the video which can be best captured through close ups. Filming Mr. Split Commercial: My Brother Steals the Show and my Pocket Money

  Today (October 29, 2020) I decided to film the first 3 scenes of my commercial (storyboard boxes 1 through 3). After much begging, and a unreasonable payment, I finally got my brother to join me in filming and to play a few characters. I bribed him into being the banana stealer and Mr. Split, but once the later scenes like the fighting scene occurs, my youngest brother will remain as Mr. Split while my oldest brother will take over the role of banana stealer. Since the scenes were simple, I did not encounter many problems, but there were a few problems with the props. Since I had free time and my brother was in a good mood, I wanted to get the filming done today, but by the time I chose to film the bananas began to rot. It's not as noticeable in the video but I was still disappointed about it. Planning for my Music Video

                                         Since the song I chose falls into the romance category for music, I will be using two individuals to display a struggling love. I plan to use my dog Faye and my cousin’s hamster Kevin. The song I chose is called tyl by Kakie. The song discusses struggling young lovers, with one party filled with hope to make the relationship work but faced with the constant disappointment provided by the other party. She describes a hope for easy young love is while simultaneously facing the reality that it is not possible, at least not anymore.     Location Due to limited locations caused by our current situation, I only plan to film in a few places.
