3/6/2021

This will be the first day of filming. The later parts of the opening sequence will be filmed first and the beginning of the opening sequence will be filmed later on. I will film the scenes that include the main female lead which are scenes 9 and 10.

3/7/2021

First day of editing. Scenes 9 and 10 will be edited.

3/13/2021

The other scenes, not including the opening scenes (first 3), will be filmed. 

3/13/2021-3/14/2021

The first 3 scenes which are the beach scenes will be filmed. They are set early in the morning so we will travel to the beach around sunrise and film the scenes. The last scene will be filmed and uploaded onto Microsoft Video Editor for editing at a later date.

3/14/2021

The remaining scenes will be edited to fit in order. I will do this on the Microsoft Video Editor.

3/20/2021

Editing of the titles will be completed. Other editing aspects of the video will also be completed.

4/10/2021

Project will be completed six days before the official due date to allow myself criticism form peers and other family members. Within those six days, if I find anything that needs to be improved it will be done.


Health and Safety

To ensure the safety of all participants, a safety kit will be kept within easy access throughout all filming periods. To secure the safety of the animal participants of the film, all animals will be secured either in a cage or on a leash. The only time that unleashing will be permitted is during filming, but the leash will be immediately attached after filming. Whenever going to a public setting to film we all will be wearing mask, including during filming. Hand sanitizer will be provided for all participants in the particular scene. We will carry out social distancing with each other and others. If any of the participants begin to feel ill or show concerning symptoms filming will be immediately stopped and we will follow the according guidelines. I, Imani Sameem, will be acting as the safety team and will secure the safety of all participants. When traveling to places that require automobile transportation the driver will be enforcing defensive driving and all participants will be secured in seat belts. Since there will be running scenes water will be provided for the participant before and after the running scene takes place.

Location

Filming will take place in 3 different locations: my house, the driveway/sidewalk of a neighbor's house, and Pompano Beach.

Filming Mr. Split Commercial: My Brother Steals the Show and my Pocket Money

  Today (October 29, 2020) I decided to film the first 3 scenes of my commercial (storyboard boxes 1 through 3). After much begging, and a unreasonable payment, I finally got my brother to join me in filming and to play a few characters. I bribed him into being the banana stealer and Mr. Split, but once the later scenes like the fighting scene occurs, my youngest brother will remain as Mr. Split while my oldest brother will take over the role of banana stealer. Since the scenes were simple, I did not encounter many problems, but there were a few problems with the props. Since I had free time and my brother was in a good mood, I wanted to get the filming done today, but by the time I chose to film the bananas began to rot. It's not as noticeable in the video but I was still disappointed about it. Planning for my Music Video

                                         Since the song I chose falls into the romance category for music, I will be using two individuals to display a struggling love. I plan to use my dog Faye and my cousin’s hamster Kevin. The song I chose is called tyl by Kakie. The song discusses struggling young lovers, with one party filled with hope to make the relationship work but faced with the constant disappointment provided by the other party. She describes a hope for easy young love is while simultaneously facing the reality that it is not possible, at least not anymore.     Location Due to limited locations caused by our current situation, I only plan to film in a few places. I will film in neutral areas of my house (in front of a wall/couch), at the beach, and there'll be a few shots outside (sidewalk or grassy area). I will have a space set up that will be covered ...
