Finding the Right Music

To begin my editing process, I first began to look for music to fit into my film. I did a web search of film music with no copyright, but later decided to do a lengthy search through YouTube. After browsing through multiple versions of noncopyrighted music I found that most of the songs were EDM. The music I wanted to incorporate in my film wasn’t meant to be EDM. After not finding many other variations I just decided to stick with EDM and try to achieve the sound that was closes to what I expected. In order to save space, I saved all the music I planned to use in my film by liking the video. I will later download the music by first converting it in a YouTube converter and downloading as an mp3 file. Since I won’t be using all of the music in each video, I will take the downloaded music and upload into my audio editor. I will find a way to upload all the sounds in the video into one track to play throughout the entire film. Other sounds that can’t be produced in the original video like barking and the ping of a text message will also be uploaded into the sound editor. The editor I’ll be using is the Wave Pad audio editor. Before combining the sounds, I will measure the specific amount of the sound I need and cut it to fit into the film. The audio I decided to use for the opening scene is a non-copyright audio called Beach. It ironically will be played along with the first scene which was initially planned to be filmed at the beach. For the rest of the scenes, I decided to use an audio titled Sad Background Music. The music itself isn’t sad throughout its entirety and has a few rising points. The rising points can be manipulated in the audio editor to fit each scene. The editor allows you to add features and effects to the sound and using these devices will allow me to change the music to best fit my film. The account the music is under is called Free Vibes and it provides free music with multiple themes. If I find I need a new variation of music I will go back to the specific account. For now, I will subscribe to the account and like the video I plan on using.
